SOCCER CAMP:

Dates:  June 19, 20,21 (8:00am-11:00am)

Grades: Rising 6th- 9th Boys and Girls

Cost: $150

Location: MRHS soccer practice field behind the tennis courts

Staff: Varsity Coaches Jason Zak and Keith Koteles and returning varsity players

Our soccer camp is available to all students in the Marvin Ridge cluster. We welcome all who desire to have fun and play soccer at our summer camp. Campers work in small groups and go through skill development stations to develop individual and team skills. 

The goal for our summer camp is to develop the skills of all of the players and have fun at the same time. The coaching staff emphasis is placed on the basic skills and techniques associated with our sport. We pride ourselves in providing the best possible learning experience for our campers. 

Registration:

All registrations must take place online. We do not offer mail in registration. Please register as soon as possible as camps fill up quickly. You will receive an email confirmation when your registration has been completed successfully.

To all the players and parents for 6th 7th and 8th grade Marvin Ridge boys soccer.

I would like to introduce myself to the ones who don’t know me.

My Name is Peter J Apostle , I am very happy to be your coach again for this up coming season! I have been involved in coaching at Marvin Ridge both the boys and the girls program for the past 4 seasons.

I have been coaching for a long time in all levels of soccer- youth premier -high school and Jr college.

I hope I can help the team to achieve success on and off the field.

We have around 100 student athletes trying out for one team. As of today, we only have room for one team. The tryouts will be held for three days for a period of 2 hours each day.

I will have several evaluators to observe and help with the process, but I will make the final selection.

Last year I was extremely proud of the team , the participation and the leadership was outstanding.

I know a lot of the players have club soccer as well. I assure you that having practices with the school team, they will not loose anything with the club level.

Our practices are geared for player development-fitness-technical practice- game related drills and to create fun memories for all involved.

Our goal is to select the best players and also balance out all three grades.

After the final tryouts, we will post the players on the school website that made the team.

I am looking forward to seeing you at the tryouts.
