Summer Practices are held at the MRMS Gym & the dates and times are as follows but are subject to change:

Thursday, August 5, 2021:  9am – 12pm

Monday, August 9, 2021:  1pm – 4pm
Friday, August 13, 2021:  1pm – 4pm

Monday, August 16, 2021:  9am – 12pm
Tuesday, August 17, 2021:  9am – 12pm
Thursday, August 19, 2021:  9am – 12pm

When school starts, practices will be afterschool until 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
 

The Mav Classic is on 10-30-2021 from approximately 8am - 2pm:
(PARTICIPATION IS MANDATORY!!!) 

The first football game is scheduled for Saturday, August 21st.  Games are every Saturday and Game Start Times are NEW this season….

6th grade games start at 9am – Cheerleaders must arrive at 8:30am
7th grade games start at 11am – Cheerleaders must arrive at 10am
8th grade games start at 1pm – Cheerleaders must arrive at 12pm

Game Schedule:

Usually, all three grades play the same school each week but this season there are a limited amount of 7th grade teams, so on specific days, where noted, 7th grade will play a different school team than 6th grade and 8th grade.  This will only happen for three games and two of those games are HOME for us, so we won’t be affected much, but there is one game – on Saturday, September 4th - where 6th grade and 8th grade will play AWAY at Porter Ridge and 7th grade will play AWAY at Piedmont (however, our 7th grade team will be playing Sun Valley at Piedmont, because Porter Ridge and Piedmont do not have 7th grade teams).  Hope that makes sense, please feel free to ask us any questions you have about this!

If your cheerleader cannot participate in any event, especially the Maverick Classic and all Games, you MUST tell the coach as soon as possible because each girl plays an integral role in the half-time routine & if one is missing, it changes the dynamic of the team and the routine!
