Head Coach: Mackie Dowell

A little bit about myself... I am one of the few that actually grew up here in the Charotte area! I played tennis in high school at Charlotte Catholic, and went on to play at App State. I still love to compete, though now I try to stick to doubles! I am on Division 1 teams in the Charlotte Interclub and Queen City leagues, as well as 4.5 USTA teams. Some of my highlights are making it to 9.0 mixed doubles nationals championships in Arizona and winning the 8.5 sectionals championships in Alabama. My husband and I met playing tennis, and now are so excited that our son Cooper has developed a love for the sport. The kids were such a joy to work with last season, and it was such a disappointment for everyone when it screeched to a halt with Covid. I look forward to getting back on the courts with the kids this year! -Coach Mackie
